mission and vision

Established in 2003, by the family of Ronald Robertson, The Robertson Center of Science and Public Policy is a knowledge-based foundation committed to the advancement of policies and practices that aid in eliminating poverty and improving public health and national security.

we provide access to information
We believe that identifying and providing access to accurate and nonpartisan information is critical in developing well-informed science-based public policy. Based in the academic and research center of San Diego, California, the Robertson Center has assembled a community of world-renowned scientific, education and legal experts to provide the community access to current scientific research or technology trends.

we provide access to technologies
This Robertson Center is committed to providing access to proven and new technologies that drive the development of sustainable biotechnology research capacity in undeveloped nations. Through our Scientists Without Borders program, the Robertson Center enables the development of research capacity by supporting strategic partnerships and information and technology sharing between public and private organizations.

we provide access to learning
We believe that accurate reporting by the media is critical to improving the public's understanding of science and technology and ultimately the development of policies and practices that improve public health. Through its education and outreach initiative, the Robertson Center offers access to information and educational programs to media and publication outlets.
